Keeping that ‘retro’, raw and authentic essence flowing, i filmed our BTS video on a vintage camcorder, later editing it in premiere pro.

Here i used the Minolta XG9 film camera to capture raw, pure imagery that reflected a rave scene atmosphere.

It was necessary for me that i experimented with film photography in this project as this is what photographers’ such as; Tilman Brimb and Wolfgang Tillmans were using at the time.

I also went on to edit them slightly in lightroom, still keeping the raw essence but experimenting with contrasts and saturation. However, i left majority images unedited which you can see in images 3,4,7 and 8.
